Alpha Omega Denver Chapter
President's Letter
Hello fellow members and future members of Alpha Omega Denver Chapter,
I would like to welcome all to our upcoming year. This year will be a continuation of great dental programming while also providing social and community service opportunities for our membership. We hope this coming year will make membership in this organization a benefit to you, and an association that you will be proud to maintain.
A schedule of events is offered from September through May. We will have a bit of everything from dental issues to having fun up in the mountains. Most of the programs and locations have been set. A few activities are still in the planning stages. The continuing education offerings are all CERP recognized and therefore qualify for meeting your CE requirements for membership in the Colorado Dental Association. Fifteen hours are required annually by the CDA. Eleven of those hours can be earned from within your own fraternity while enjoying good meals and the camaraderie of friends. You will find that membership is a great value.
Remember that your local membership provides you the chance to share and network with your professional friends while also helping dental students prepare for and enter the profession. But you are also part of something bigger. As part of AO International Dental Fraternity you help to support Israeli dentistry, oppose anti-Semitism and all forms of social injustice and you are an accepted part of an international professional community no matter where you may travel.
Your board members are working hard for you and for the future of our chapter and the organization. I hope our efforts are sufficient to deserve your continued support and membership in the chapter. Don't forget to tell your friends and colleagues to join as well, ensuring our local chapter's growth.
Fraternally yours,
Ian M Topelson DMD
AO Denver chapter president
